Our products are made from 100% Australian Merino sheepskin, this is a natural luxurious material and it needs to be looked after to maintain the look and feel of the sheepskin.

Sheepskins Downunder care products are specially formulated to nourish and help upkeep the condition of your Sheepskins Downunder boots. 

General Maintenance

Sheepskin Boots should be maintained like any other shoe or suede product, over time the colour will fade as the material of the boot wears down. The outer part of your boot is a suede material that needs extra care and attention.

Be wary of getting boots wet! If they do get wet, let them dry naturally (not in front of a heater) then brush delicately with a suede brush.  You can use a suede brush to remove dirt from the surface of your boots. Sheepskins Downunder does not recommend to wash our products as results will vary.

Buttons - Our button details are an accessory and in time may need repair or to be replaced completely. This is part of the natural wear and tear of the product and are easily replaced, this is not a product fault.  

Innersoles - Our ‘Sheepskins Downunder Innersoles’ can be replaced for boot longevity and can also be used for extra comfort in other footwear. The breathable nature of merino wool is perfect to encourage circulation.
